Mentoring program

The International Students and Researchers Reception Desk (SAIEC) can help facilitate your arrival and settlement in France.

At the SAIEC’s Welcome Desk, a multilingual team will welcome and accompany you in your administrative procedures: verification and/or submission of residency permit applications, housing benefit allocation (Caisse d’Allocation Familiale – CAF) and health insurance application (Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie-CPAM) and assistance in finding accommodation.

If you are an international student and would like to be accompanied in your first steps in France, you can join the International Mentorship, a personalized welcome program for international students offered by the SAIEC and the Crous of Montpellier-Occitanie in partnership with the the universities’ international relations services. Available in Montpellier, Nîmes, Perpignan, Béziers, Mende and Narbonne, it allows you to be mentored by another French or international student in order to facilitate your settlement in the city.
