Dear students, welcome to Montpellier Management.

In 2024, Montpellier Management welcomes 4 000 students of over 80 different nationalities. More than 2,000 of them are in initial training, over 800 have apprentice status, and over 600 prefer distance learning.

MOMA is home to the LabEx Entreprendre, the only laboratory of excellence in entrepreneurship, and most of its teaching and research staff are members of the MRM laboratory (“Montpellier Recherche en Management”). All our teaching and research staff, administrative staff and freelance experts are dedicated to raising the visibility of our training and research activities, and to promoting the success and employability of our students.

Driven by this collective momentum, Montpellier Management continues on its way to becoming an internationally recognized university school firmly rooted in its local ecosystem. A school that inspires today’s and tomorrow’s managers, capable through their actions of helping to shape a world that is more humane and respectful of the living world.

Our mission is three-fold:

  • To train the leaders of tomorrow, capable of understanding the challenges and complexities of a constantly changing professional world, and inventing the tools and methods of the future to build a better world
  • To produce knowledge that is meaningful and progressive (economic, social and environmental)
  • To promote the values and practices of ethical and responsible management among our students and other stakeholders.

That’s why, at Montpellier Management, we’ve been combining our talents and efforts for years to develop learning and strengthen the employability of our students. As the largest component of the University of Montpellier in terms of the number of apprentices, we are also committed to developing and encouraging pedagogical innovations of all kinds. Numerous open e-learning courses, learning labs, MOOCs, SPOCs, inverted pedagogy, etc. are just some of the initiatives that make Montpellier Management a place for pedagogical reflection and experimentation.

Four dynamic student associations have their own independent offices: Junior Entreprise (MOMA Junior Conseil), Bureau des Sports (MOMA Sport Club), Bureau des Etudiants (BAMM) and Impulse MTEEC. Student creativity and solidarity are widely supported and encouraged by the institute’s management.

We want everyone to feel at home at Montpellier Management and find a place that suits them. This is the challenge we take up every day, combining top-level research and training, and attracting the best experts not only from the business world, but also from public and political organizations. At Montpellier Management, we have ambition and a sense of social, societal and environmental responsibility, and we maximize collegiality so that everyone can propose, dare and achieve.

Montpellier Management is a place of excellence for teaching and research, a place of study where new ideas flourish. A place where every talent can express itself and combine with that of others. Dear students, welcome to Montpellier Management.

“We value people’s differences and their ability to find meaning in their work.”
